These Transportation Terms and Conditions (“Transportation Terms”) apply to vehicle pickup, transportation, and delivery services arranged or coordinated by Vehiculo Logistics Inc. (“Vehiculo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking or accepting a delivery, you agree to these Transportation Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Vehiculo coordinates the transportation and delivery of vehicles between dealerships, auction sites, and customers. Services may be performed by Vehiculo personnel, contractors, or authorized carrier partners.
2. Booking and Scheduling
- Bookings are confirmed once acknowledged in writing by Vehiculo.
- Pickup and delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, mechanical, or operational factors.
- You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery information and ensuring access at both locations.
3. Vehicle Condition and Inspection
A condition inspection, including photographs, may be completed at pickup and delivery. You are encouraged to review inspection documentation. Pre-existing damage should be documented at the time of pickup. Vehicles must be in safe, roadworthy condition unless otherwise agreed in advance.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Remove or secure personal belongings; Vehiculo is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle has appropriate keys, fuel or charge, and documentation for transport.
- Ensure an authorized person is available to release and receive the vehicle, or provide written authorization for handover.
5. Handover and Electronic Signature
Delivery may be confirmed through an electronic signature and/or photographic proof of delivery. By signing, you acknowledge receipt of the vehicle in the documented condition at the time of delivery.
6. Insurance and Liability
Vehiculo maintains insurance appropriate to its coordination services. Coverage details, limits, and claims procedures are available upon request. Claims for transit-related damage must be reported promptly and documented at delivery in order to be considered. Nothing in these Transportation Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
7. Delays and Cancellations
Vehiculo is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any applicable fees, will be provided at the time of booking.
8. Fees and Payment
Applicable fees are set out in your quote or booking confirmation. Payment terms are handled separately in accordance with the arrangements confirmed with you. These Transportation Terms do not modify any separately agreed payment or refund terms.
9. Automated and AI-Assisted Coordination
We may use automated or AI-assisted systems to help coordinate scheduling, confirmations, rescheduling, and delivery updates. These tools support our team; final operational decisions relating to safety, driver assignment, and insurance remain with qualified personnel.
10. Governing Law
These Transportation Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
